Each season, GIRLAB is led by community leaders who offer their time, energy and strengths to support the other members of the GIRLAB community. The GIRLAB Captains and Coaches are a consistently present voice throughout the season, hosting regular meetings and sharing content. Though the offerings might change from season to season, we welcome women who want to share their knowledge and voices with the GIRLAB community as we continue to build our team.
Voices of GIRLAB
Throughout each GIRLAB season, we invite women in our community to lead a Sunday Session and share their story, knowledge, wisdom and learnings. We cover everything from running mechanics to racism to mental health.
An essential component of GIRLAB is providing a safe, non-judgmental platform to empower, learn from, listen to and celebrate the women within the group.
A PLATFORM FOR ACTION
We’re big on responsibility and commitment. In every GIRLAB season, we ask the question “what is your personal commitment to creating positive change in the world?”. Conversations are important, but action is the real deal. One of our longterm goals is to be able to support the members of GIRLAB in their personal commitments - whether that be socially or professionally.
GIRLAB Seasons:GIRLAB offers 4 -5 seasons each year, varying between 6 and 16 weeks in length. The GIRLAB seasons offer multiple weekly virtual group sessions that focus on a holistic approach to running as a part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle, run coaching, yoga, book club, group chats, and community offerings from GIRLAB members. The next season will launch on February 7th, 2021.
